Company recognized for leadership in "Demand Data Analytics" category
Washington DC, January 29, 2008
Vision Chain, Inc. (www.visionchain.com), the market share leader in demand signal repository software for consumer products companies, announced today that it has been named as one of the Top 3 vendors in the 2008 Consumer Goods Technology Magazine Readers Choice Awards. In this annual survey, now in its 8th year, CGT asked its subscriber base to identify their most valued and used solutions and services providers across 11 categories. Vision Chain ranked third among the Top 10 vendors in the Demand Data Analytics category.
The editors cited Vision Chain as having moved up a position in the rankings since last year, and credited the company's work "with top-tier clients to move beyond Wal-Mart data analysis toward a complete Demand Signal Repository (DSR) solution." Vision Chain was also lauded for recently releasing a version of its software in a SaaS (Software as a Service) model, "enhancing deployment options" for CP companies seeking a rapid time to market in deploying a DSR.
The Dannon Company, General Mills and Hasbro are just a few of Vision Chain's customers that were named in the recent CGT magazine cover story announcing the award winners.
"We are thrilled to receive this award and the esteemed recognition of so many consumer products company executives," said Paul Beduhn, President and CEO of Vision Chain. "As more and more companies adopt Vision Chain as their choice for a demand signal repository, we witness how they truly achieve the goal of having demand data insights integrated into all the critical business processes across the enterprise – from supply chain, to sales, to marketing, to forecasting and beyond."
More than 150 consumer product company executives participated in the survey. More than half of the respondents work in CP companies that have more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
