World's largest US-based Supply Chain & Logistics conference includes more VP of Supply Chain's than any other
WASHINGTON, DC, March 2, 2007
Vision Chain, Inc. (www.visionchain.com), a leading global provider of demand and supply chain solutions, announced today that Shawn Dolley has been selected to address the attendees at the LOGICON 2007 Conference – the premier logistics and supply chain management event in North America. Mr. Dolley, along with keynote executives from Schering Plough and Blockbuster, will explain how companies can re-think and re-invest their supply chain to ensure a leadership position.
LOGICON 2007 takes place in Las Vegas on March 5-8. A sample of the hundreds of attending companies includes Kraft, Cadbury Schweppes, General Electric, Diageo, Unilever and Michelin. More Vice Presidents of Supply Chain attend this conference than any other. They range from Consumer Products, High Tech, Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment to other verticals.
Mr. Dolley will describe how supply chain executives create DDSN - demand driven supply networks. Using Vision Chain's Demand Signal Repository, companies can gain - for the first time - true 360 degree supply chain views. He will address why leveraging cleansed and harmonized point-of-sale (POS) data that is integrated with other demand data through a single repository will quickly provide accurate insights that lead to more effective product delivery down to the specific retail store shelf.
"In today's hotly competitive market, forecasting off point-of-sale data rather than shipment data can help companies not only react faster than their competitors but maintain better in-stocks," said Mr. Dolley. "Our customers use this approach to dominate everything from New Product Introduction to Data Synchronization to True CPFR to having best in class In-Stock. It's the wave of the future."
