Vision Chain Selected As One of "Top 100" by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine

WASHINGTON, DC, August 8, 2006

Vision Chain, Inc. (www.visionchain.com), a leading global provider of demand and supply chain solutions for the consumer products industry, today announced that Company was selected as one of the industry's "Top 100" in the fifth annual award program sponsored by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine. Each year, the magazine carefully selects and honors those companies that are leading the way in providing cutting-edge solutions and services to help enterprises address pain points in their supply chains through the application of new technologies and new processes.

"Vision Chain is honored to be included among this prestigious group of companies – all spearheading new approaches to increasing efficiency and effectiveness in managing complex supply chains," said Saikumar Natarajan, Director of Services. "We are specifically delighted to be recognized through the numerous sales gains that our many consumer products company clients realize through the use of our platform. They, too, deserve to be cited for their forward-thinking in using automation to drive sales through better matching of inventory to retailer demand."

Vision Chain's innovation involves enabling a Demand Driven Supply Network (DDSN) for consumer products companies. Using the Vision Chain platform, supply chain managers aggregate demand signals from a variety of sources such as store-specific point of sale (POS) data, shipments, promotions and RFID. These are integrated and harmonized in the Vision Chain DSR where hundreds of business rules are applied to each data source to create one single view. The results lead to higher in-stock levels at specific retailer locations, improved forecasting, and higher sales.

"Our readers turn to Supply & Demand Chain Executive to learn about new solutions and best practices for enabling the supply chain, to understand trends in supply chain technology, and to benchmark their own companies' enablement initiatives with those of other enterprises across industry verticals," explained Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "The corporate executives and line-of-business leaders who rely on the magazine want to know not only what the state of the art is today, but what will be the cutting edge of supply chain transformation tomorrow."

This year, judges sought firms providing solutions across a variety of industries, addressing the needs of companies of varying sizes, and assisting in the transformation of a diverse mix of the functions that make up the supply chain. The goal was to highlight a broad range of innovations taking place in the theory and practice of supply chain transformation.
