Rick Crandall to Provide Strategic Insight to Executive Management Team

Mr. Crandall is a well-known entrepreneur credited with numerous successful ventures over the past several decades. He is most notably recognized as the founder of Comshare, Inc., the first true decision support software company. Comshare focused on decision support and pioneered executive information systems, multidimensional modeling and ‘business intelligence'. Rick founded and ran the company from its startup 1966 until 1994—building it into a $125 million international business. He later provided a strategic role in the creation of the Giga Information Group, one of the industry's leading information technology research and advisory firms. He was chairman of Giga until its sale to Forrester Research. He has served on and chaired the Board of Directors of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) – the nation's leading IT trade association. Mr. Crandall founded and currently chairs the Enterprise Software Roundtable—a forum limited to the chief executives of the world's largest enterprise software companies. He serves on the Board of Directors of numerous technology companies such as Novell, Diebold, Inc. and several private ventures. In the past several years, Crandall has served as the tech industry advisor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
