Vision Chain opens support and sales center in Northwest Arkansas

WASHINGTON, DC, February 18, 2004

Vision Chain, Inc. (www.visionchain.com), a leading global provider of demand and supply chain solutions, opened a sales and support center in the business community of Village on the Creeks in Rogers, Arkansas. A sample of Vision Chain customers includes five of the top ten consumer packaged goods firms in the world. The office will provide technical support and sales for a growing group of suppliers. Vision Chain's first local staff, Alicia Zimmerman, has been selected and will be managing the office. Alicia comes to Vision Chain from Procter & Gamble's renowned sales team in Fayetteville.

"As suppliers become more collaborative and more responsive to requests from retailers, we need someone of Alicia's caliber," said Shawn Dolley, CEO and founder of Vision Chain. "The top criterion for category advisory tomorrow will be ability to derive real-time benefit from existing data."

Vision Chain has created a repository to collect, normalize, mine and distribute granular data such as RFID, point-of-sale, inventory, forecast, and weather data. This software is critical to global consumer products companies as they collaborate and improve their offering.

"From Store of the Community to international reporting to modulars, Vision Chain has rounded out its offering with a local focus. We continue to derive benefit from our investment in Vision Chain," said Chris Shepherd, Sr. Category Development Manager from H.J. Heinz, "In Europe, Canada, Mexico, and around the world, analysts need quick, actionable tools to work with retailer data."
