Paul Beduhn - CEO
With more than 22 years of experience in the software industry, Paul is always looking for ways to bring customers, partners, and Vision Chain together in pursuit of excellence.
Most recently, Paul worked as a Senior Vice President at TIBCO in Palo Alto, California, where he was responsible for world wide software and consulting revenues and a staff of more than 500 engineers, consultants and trainers. He has also held senior management positions at some of the fastest growth software companies including Inktomi, MicroStrategy, and Sybase.
Paul graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1984 with a degree is Computer Science and System Analysis.
Dave Shuman - COO
Dave focuses on company operations and ties success to customer satisfaction. Prior to being COO, he was Director of Services, and was responsible for implementations at such top CG companies as Kraft Foods, PepsiCo International, and The Stanley Works. He also directed the Vision Chain professional services staff for support services at H.J. Heinz, Del Monte Foods, and The Scotts Company.
Previously, Dave worked for enews Inc., an ecommerce company acquired by Barnes and Noble, where he began as Vice President of Operations and also served as Executive Vice President of Management Information Systems, managing software development, operations and retail analytics. Dave developed ecommerce applications and business processes used by barnesandnoble.com, Yahoo! and Excite, and pioneered an innovative process for affiliate commerce.
Dave has an extensive background in business intelligence applications, database architecture, logical and physical database design and data warehousing. He holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Information Systems from Temple University and a B.A. from Earlham College.
Peter Wilding - CTO
Peter is a co-founder of Vision Chain. He has worked in the data warehousing industry for 15 years, specializing in the development of decision support software and systems for retail and consumer packaged goods companies. He holds four patents on decision support technology, and has extensive field experience with companies such as PepsiCo, Hasbro, CVS, American Stores, Kmart, Hannaford, Federated, Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, and Ford Motor Company.
Prior to joining Vision Chain, Peter spent several years at MicroStrategy, Inc. where he led the Retail Category Management practice and managed development teams for the groundbreaking MicroStrategy Administrator™ and MicroStrategy Broadcaster™ products.
Peter has overseen the release of all major versions of the Company's enterprise software, including the Keystone demand signal repository platform.
Peter graduated from Dartmouth College in 1994 with a degree in Computer Science.
Paul Springmann - Chief Architect
Paul has fifteen years of experience building CPG sales and marketing decision support applications driven with demand data.
Paul began his career with IBM in 1991 and then joined S.C. Johnson Wax in 1995. At S.C. Johnson Wax, he built a data warehouse for international POS data sourced from multiple retailers that integrated both POS and IRI InfoScan data as well as internal shipment data. Paul is an experienced SQL Server and Oracle developer, and an expert in business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy and Business Objects. He designed and implemented the initial releases of Vision Chain and continues to drive innovation with each subsequent Vision Chain release.
Paul graduated from Valparasio University in 1994 with a degree in Computer Engineering.
David Asch - Vice President, Engineering
David oversees the Engineering and Quality Assurance groups. He has more than 18 years of management experience in similar supply chain software companies.
Prior to joining Vision Chain, David was the Vice President of Software Development at Descartes Systems Group, where he built the first enterprise wireless dispatch system for private fleet. Prior to this, David held management positions at Roadshow International, Inc, and developed Vehicle Routing Logistics software.
David graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in Mathematics.
